About Meseretna
Why we built it
Meseretna was started by a father of five who wanted his own children to learn Tigrinya and keep it for life. He couldn't find a good way to teach them, so he began building one.
Who it is for
Meseretna is built for children and for the families who teach them.
Where we are today
We are still growing. Our stories and lessons have not all been reviewed by a native speaker yet, and we say so openly on every story. We are working with native Tigrinya speakers to review the words, the sounds and the stories, and we fix anything a family reports.
